The much-anticipated Knot a Sports Day 2026 is officially open for registration!
Set to take place on Friday, 12 June 2026, this joyful reimagination of the classic school sports day is returning – bigger, brighter, and more impactful than ever.
Organised by Knot Events CIC, a vibrant collective of Staffordshire-based businesswomen, the event will again unite local businesses for a day of playful rivalry, inclusive competition, and community-driven fundraising.
Participants can look forward to nostalgic favourites like egg-and-spoon races, three-legged challenges, plus creatively modern twists, feature entertainment, live commentary, inflatables, and more, all in support of nine local charities.
Following the resounding success of 2025’s edition, where over 230 attendees from 32 teams helped raise £10,000, the 2026 organisers are aiming to build on that momentum.
In an exciting development, the group has now formalised their efforts into a Community Interest Company (CIC). This move not only strengthens our charitable mission but also ensures a robust, transparent framework for delivering impactful community events with clear social benefit.
Registration is now open, with early-bird team slots available for £400. Each team, made up of 4 to 8 members, is encouraged to bring originality with creative names and co-ordinated t-shirts, offering businesses a fun way to build morale while giving back.
