Knot a Sports Day 2025
Parogon Group Going for Gold!

Knot Events’ second iteration of its Knot a Sports Day event is shaping up to be a competitive day, with 21 teams already registered – setting a field of over 150 participants vying for gold.

One local business backing itself to take home the gold is Parogon Group, which has entered four different teams this year.

Ben Allison, Project and Compliance Manager for Parogon Group, said: “We love the idea that Knot a Sports Day was created by a team of independent businesswomen based in Staffordshire.

“At Parogon Group, we are committed to supporting local communities, an endeavour that is backed up by our recent B-Corp certification.”

Asked whether he felt confident about winning the event, Ben said: “Our teams will be training for the event. Unlike other teams who might be desk-based, our teams are used to working on their feet which should give us a competitive edge.

“Of course, we’re aiming for a win on the day! We’re a highly social team so we’re looking forward to celebrating our victory with the other teams and participants.”

Proceeds from Knot a Sports Day 2025 will support ten different charities, with the inaugural event in 2024 raising £13,000 for local causes. Knot a Sports Day 2025 will take place at Staffordshire University on Friday 27th June, between 09:30 and 15:30.
