What are you looking forward to the most about Knot a Sports Day 2026?
Community is one of our core values, so seeing the best of Staffordshire come together, all while raising money for brilliant local causes, is something we genuinely look forward to. It’s a day that reminds us what teamwork looks like beyond the office, and we love being part of it.
Were you involved with Knot a Sports Day 2025?
We’ve taken part every year so far and, while we’ve only tasted heartbreak on the leaderboard, our teams have loved every single second. The competitive spirit, the chaos, the questionable technique… it’s become a highlight of our calendar.
How are you and your team planning to train / prepare for this year’s event?
We’ve heard rumours about the special penalty shootout game, so we’ve been putting in the practice to avoid any Waddle/ Southgate‑style moments. If nothing else, we’ll arrive with confidence, whether it’s justified is another matter.
What would it mean if your team won Knot a Sports Day 2026, and how would you celebrate?
It would mean a lot. After a couple of near misses, we’re determined to bring the trophy home this year. As for celebrations… is an open‑top bus parade around Festival Park acceptable? We think so. At the very least, there’ll be bragging rights for the next twelve months.
If you have entered a team, what is the team name and why did you decide on that name?
DJH Dynamos.
The name came from the spirit we bring every year, a mix of enthusiasm, determination and the occasional burst of unexpected athleticism.
It’s time to throw down the gauntlet and challenge competitor teams to try and beat you on the day.
What is your war cry?
We bring the numbers, we bring the grit, DJH, we never quit.
